Moment Burning has arrived to UFC Strike

Complete the Chimaev Moment Burn Challenge, before Tuesday, June 21st at 11 AM PT. Burn 10 individual Khamzat Chimaev Series 0 Contender Moments and receive a new Series 1 Khamzat Chimaev Challenger Moment from his Fight of the Night victory at UFC 273 over Gilbert Burns (pun intended).

Khamzat Chimaev is one of the most exciting athletes in UFC. With his meteoric rise in the ranks, we are excited to unveil UFC Strike’s very first Moment Burn Challenge, designed to reward Khamzat’s biggest supporters on the platform, with a brand new Challenger Moment. This is just the first of many Moment Burn Challenges coming to UFC Strike. Read below for all the details you need to know.

Quick Facts:

• Moment Burning is an irreversible process. Once a Moment NFT is burned, it is gone forever. We highly recommend that users only begin the process of burning their Moments until they have all the necessary Moments needed to complete the Challenge.
• If you burn less than the required number of Moments needed for the Challenge by June 21st at 11AM PT, you will be ineligible to receive the awarded Moment. For Example, if you only burn 9 of the required Chimaev Moments, you will not receive the Challenger Moment. If you burn 15 of the required Chimaev Moments, you will only receive 1 Challenger Moment.
• There is no limit to the number of Moments that can be earned per account. For Example, if you have 80 Chimaev Moments and want to burn 60 of them, you will receive 6 new Challenger Moments at the time of the airdrop.

Moment Burn Challenge Schedule

• Now: Challenge Live! We encourage fans who are interested in completing this challenge to use this time to acquire the necessary Chimaev Moments that they would like to use for Moment Burning.
• Friday, June 17th at 11 AM PT: The Moment Burning tool will be turned on for fans to start burning the necessary number of Chimaev Moments, corresponding to the number of Challenger Moments they’d like to earn.
• Tuesday, June 21st at 11 AM PT: The Moment Burning tool will be turned off, fans will no longer have access to Burn Moments, and a snapshot will be taken to determine the edition size for the Challenger Chimaev Moment.
• Post Snapshot: The new Challenger Chimaev Moment will be minted and airdropped to eligible fans based on the number of Series 0 Chimaev Moments they have burned.

Fine Print

• If a Moment that is not eligible for this Moment Burn Challenge is burned, you will not be able to recover this moment, nor will it count towards your total in completing this Challenge.
• The Challenger Khamzat Chimaev Moment will be minted to the edition size based on the number of completions of the Challenge. If there are fewer than 250 Challenge completions, a minimum of 250 Moments will be minted, with the remaining editions being distributed later.
• Fans must complete all of their Moment burnings BEFORE June 21st at 11 AM PT. Fans who have burned too few Moments or incorrect Moments will not be eligible for the reward.
• Snapshot times/dates may be extended if maintenance mode or technical difficulties prevent the Marketplace or Moment Burning tool from being accessible for long periods of time.
