As we look towards Series 3, UFC Strike will begin migrating from the Flow blockchain to the Aptos blockchain. This migration process ensures continued long-term functionality for UFC Strike Moments. In the coming weeks, we will provide further information and guide you through every step of this process. Please read the below FAQ for more details on what to expect. Thank you for being with us on this journey, and we look forward to what we can do in the future on the Aptos blockchain.

UFC Strike Migration FAQ
What is the UFC Strike migration?
The migration is a process of moving your UFC Strike Moments from one blockchain to another. In this case, moving from Flow to Aptos.
Why are we migrating to a new chain?
There are numerous business reasons we have made the decision to move chains. One major reason was the news that our main service provider (Gigantik/Giglabs) that we rely on to run our project is shutting down their business. Overall we feel that the move to Aptos is the best thing for UFC Strike long term.
Why Aptos?
The Aptos blockchain is excited to host UFC Strike and is committed to support its continued growth. Their blockchain can provide us with better scalability, improved transaction speed, and access to more features that align with our long-term vision for UFC Strike.
How will this migration affect me as a holder?
As a current holder, your UFC Strike Moment will be migrated from the existing chain to the new chain. You will not lose ownership of your UFC Strike Moment during the process. Once the migration is complete, you will still retain all the benefits and utilities tied to your UFC Strike Moment on the new chain.
How will the migration process work?
Collectors will go to their UFC Strike Account, connect both their Dapper Wallet and an Aptos-supported wallet through Aptos Connect, and sign transactions confirming they would like to move their Moments. We will utilize a “burn and mint” process - meaning your Moments will then be burned on the Flow blockchain, while being minted on the Aptos blockchain, and maintaining the exact same metadata, including serial numbers, and ownership details.
For a more detailed account, please check our Migration How-To Guide (coming soon).
Why burn the original Moment?
One of the values we have always espoused on UFC Strike is the importance of scarcity. By burning and minting simultaneously, this makes it so only one copy of a given Moment/Serial can exist at any one time.
Why won’t it happen automatically?
Another important value–ownership. These Moments belong to you, and it is imperative that you are in control of decision making when it comes to your Moments.
Do I have to migrate right away?
We plan to keep the migration page available for a long time—at least six months and potentially indefinitely—so you can migrate whenever you’re ready.
What if I don’t migrate my Moments?
Your Moments are yours, so migrating is not a requirement, and you are welcome to keep them in your Dapper Wallet on Flow. However, the UFC Strike platform will only support Moments on Aptos. So if you wish to participate in Challenges, Airdrops, or the Champion Club, we would advise migrating.
Will I need a new wallet or account?
You will need a new Aptos wallet, which will then be connected to your UFC Strike Account. Closer to the time of migration we will provide more information on Aptos wallet options to make sure you’re ready to go.
What happens to my UFC Strike Moment’s marketplace listing during migration?
All listings on our first-party marketplace on Flow will become inactive, as the marketplace will be shut down on July 30th. Moments will need to be relisted on our new marketplace once they’ve been migrated to Aptos.
Can I still sell or transfer my UFC Strike Moment during the migration?
We recommend avoiding sales or transfers while going through the migration process. Once the migration is complete, you can sell or transfer your UFC Strike Moments on the new blockchain as usual.
Will there be any changes to the community or project itself?
The core vision, community values, and utilities of the project will remain unchanged. This migration is aimed at improving the infrastructure and ensuring the project’s long-term growth. We look forward to bringing you more information on Series 3 in the coming weeks.
If I burn my Moment on Flow but haven’t received it on Aptos, should I be concerned?
No reason to worry. We will have a complete database of all the current metadata on each chain. This means that even if there is an issue with a mint, or transfer, we will resolve the issue to make sure you receive your correct Moments. There will be a tracking progress page for you to monitor the status of your migration.
How do I get help if I have issues during the migration?
Rest assured, If you encounter any issues during the migration process, please contact our support team at support@ufcstrike.com. We’re here to help every step of the way.
Will challenges continue on Flow until migration?
Our last challenge on Flow was the UFC 318 Multi-Challenge Event, which just wrapped up. There may be a small gap without challenges during the initial migration period, but we are looking to get challenges back up on Aptos as soon as possible.
What happens to unopened packs?
Due to Gigantik’s shutdown, all unopened packs—including those in our reserves—will automatically be opened. We understand this is disappointing, but we are working to introduce resellable packs on the new Aptos marketplace. These packs will begin unpacking on the evening of Monday, July 28th, 2025, and continue through the week.
What happens to the remaining Moments in the project’s reserves?
We plan to transfer them to Aptos for use in future challenges, rewards, and giveaways.
