Hey Strike fans! We’re testing out a new offering called UFC Strike Now, which taps into the weekly excitement of the UFC with exclusive digital collectibles from each event. It’s an opportunity for you to flex your fandom, own limited edition collectibles, and compete against other UFC fans for some amazing rewards! Test your fight knowledge tomorrow!
We’re thrilled for this soft launch to coincide with UFC Fight Night: Holloway vs The Korean Zombie!
Here’s how it works:
Within 24-48 hours of an upcoming UFC event, fans visit the fight card to choose the athletes they think will win. If the fan's selected athlete wins, the collectible will be upgraded to include exclusive video footage celebrating the victory. If the fan's selected athlete is defeated, the collectible will be upgraded to include only basic upgrades. Collectibles are available at purchase, and upgrades happen shortly following the event.
Win, lose, or draw, every participant will be eligible for weekly giveaways for additional prizes. Each collectible purchased will be an additional entry into the weekly giveaway.
We will also be running a trial leaderboard between UFC Fight Night: Holloway vs The Korean Zombie and UFC 293 to reward the most knowledgeable UFC fans. Final leaderboard tallying will be based on the number of correct picks. In the event of a tie, winners will be based on the total number of winning collectibles. If there’s still a tie at that point, then winners will be chosen at random.
