We are extremely excited to introduce UFC Strike to fight fans across the globe. Ahead of the first Pack Drop, we've put together an overview of some of the specifics on how we are approaching this new product.
Moments: Moments are video highlights with accompanying audio captured directly from UFC fights past and present, featuring unmatched skills and athleticism of your favorite UFC fighters.
Series: UFC Strike is currently planning on releasing 2 series in 2022. Series 0, the initial release as a part of this Pack Drop and our subsequent Drop on February 15th, features 35 unique Moments from some of the UFC’s biggest stars. Series 1 will consist of a series of drops throughout the remainder of 2022.
Tiers and Edition Sizes: UFC Strike Moments will be minted into one of 5 rarity Tiers to denote relative scarcity within a Series. These Tiers will also correspond with visual designations and bespoke colors for the design of the Moment frames. Series 0 will comprise of only Contender and Champion Tier Moments, whereas Series 1 may incorporate all five Tiers. The rarity Tiers and associated edition sizes for Series 0 and 1 (intended to span across the 2022 calendar year) are as follows:
- Fandom: Uncapped
- Contender: 5,000 to 25,000
- Challenger: 250 to 2,500
- Champion: 25 to 99
- Ultimate: 1 to 10
Ultimate Tier: The Ultimate claim for a UFC Strike Collector, these officially-licensed Collectibles are the rarest on the entire UFC Strike platform with no more than 10 of each ever being issued.
Champion Tier: Unmissable in their design, with a standout gold trim, worthy of past and current fighters who have claimed an undisputed or interim UFC Championship belt in their respective divisions, these Moments and fighters left an indelible mark on the sport. As such, the total number of Champion Moments released in Series 0 and 1 will be constrained to no more than 3,000 with each Champion Moment being minted to a count of 99 or less.
Challenger Tier: With a silver lining, these limited collectibles feature the fighters who pushed the competition to the brink, and made an undeniable impression on UFC fans for their work inside the Octagon. Challenger Moments are minted to a max supply of 2,500 per Challenger Moment NFT.
Contender Tier: Loaded with action from striking technicians, grappling specialists, and the fiercest finishers to ever compete in UFC, the Contender Tier celebrates the achievement of winning at the highest level of the sport: inside the Octagon. Contender Moments are minted to a max supply of 25,000 per Contender Moment NFT.
Fandom Tier: Reserved for special circumstances such as Challenge Rewards, these Moments will be minted outside of the core Rarity Tiers. There is no requirement on the mint count.
Hype NFTs: Featuring action from outside the fights themselves, Hype NFTs do not have mint requirements and will be primarily distributed as promotional items and rewards. This is completely separate from Moment NFTs.
