Hey UFC Strike Fans, the UFC Strike Now limited access trial continues! For those that don’t know UFC Strike Now taps into the weekly excitement of UFC with exclusive digital collectibles from each event. It’s an opportunity for you to flex your fandom, own limited edition collectibles, and compete against other UFC fans for some amazing rewards!
UFC makes its return to Paris for UFC Fight Night: Gane vs Spivac, headlined again by French kickboxing sensation, Cyril “Bon Gamin” Gane. Last year, Gane earned himself a shot at the UFC heavyweight title with a massive knockout of Tai Tuivasa and this year, he hopes for a repeat performance. Standing across from him is Serghei “Polar Bear” Spivac, one of most well-rounded athletes in the heavyweight division. Spivac expertly utilizes his striking to set up his wrestling, grounding his opponents and suffocating them with tremendous top pressure. He comes off the biggest win of his career against Derrick Lewis for what should be a very interesting stylistic matchup in the main event.
In the co-main event, former strawweight champion “Thug” Rose Namajunas is moving up to flyweight for the first time in her career. She faces another technical challenge in French kickboxer Manon “The Beast” Fiorot who is undefeated in UFC, with a five-fight win streak to her name. Also on the card, the always tough Benoit Saint-Denis faces one of the most consistent fighters in the lightweight division, Thiago Moises. Here’s how it works:
On Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 12PM PST fans will visit the UFC Fight Night: Gane vs Spivac card to choose the athletes they think will win. If the fan's selected athlete wins, the collectible will be upgraded to include exclusive video footage celebrating the victory. If the fan's selected athlete is defeated, the collectible will be updated to include only basic upgrades. Collectibles are available at purchase, and upgrades happen shortly following the event. Collectors have until 12PM PST on Saturday, September 2, 2023 to make your picks. Collectors will still be able to use the Dapper wallet for purchase but must create a UFC Strike account to participate in UFC Strike Now.
Win, lose, or draw, every participant will be eligible for weekly giveaways for additional prizes. Each collectible purchased will be an additional entry into the weekly giveaway.
We are also running a trial leaderboard between UFC Fight Night: Holloway vs The Korean Zombie and UFC 293 to reward the most knowledgeable UFC fans. Final leaderboard tallying will be based on the number of correct picks. In the event of a tie, winners will be based on the total number of winning collectibles. If there’s still a tie at that point, then winners will be chosen at random.
