Hey UFC Strike fans! Since Volkanovski defended his title at UFC 290, it’s the perfect time for a burn challenge of top contender Ilia Topuria!
After bursting onto the scene with a massive KO victory over Jiu-Jitsu phenom Ryan Hall, Ilia “El Matador'' Topuria has strung together three high-profile wins over Jai Herbert, Bryce Mitchell, and more recently, heavy hitting fan favorite Josh Emmett. While all of his performances have shown a talent that stands out in the deep waters of the featherweight division, his win over “Thug Nasty” Bryce Mitchell is especially impressive because of the fashion in which he did it. Topuria dominated an opponent who was undefeated in UFC at the time and had shown a grappling pedigree that was leaps and bounds ahead of the rest of the division.
After stuffing a majority of Bryce Mitchell's takedown attempts for the first two rounds, Ilia "El Matador" Topuria wrestled Mitchell against the fence, locked up a head and arm triangle and used it to throw his opponent to the floor, earning the tap moments later near the end of the third round.
Especially with his recent main event win over Emmett, the future looks bright for this young and talented athlete out of Spain.

REWARD
The reward for this challenge is a Series 1 Ilia Topuria Challenger Tier Moment from UFC 282: Blachowicz vs Ankalaev. Topuria defeated his opponent Bryce Mitchell via submission in the third round.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Deadline: Collectors have until 11AM PT on Tuesday, July 18th to complete the Challenge. The Burn Tool will be closed and we will take a snapshot at that time to determine who meets the Challenge criteria. Only Moments burned during the Challenge window will be counted. No burns from previous Challenges will be counted. All criteria must be completed to earn the reward.
Completions: Each collector can complete the Challenge multiple times for multiple rewards. The final Edition size of the Moment will be equal to the number of total completions.
Burn Tool: To burn moments, please use our Burn Tool. The Burn Tool will be turned off at the challenge deadline.
Reward Delivery: Once the challenge ends, we will airdrop the Challenger moment reward to qualifying collectors based on the final snapshot. Please expect up to one week for reward delivery.
