Song Yadong secured a stunning fifth-round KO/TKO win over Ricky Simon, cementing a moment that will go down in bantamweight history. 🔥

Israel Adesanya recaptured his Middleweight title with a 2nd round knockout against Alex Pereira, evening the score in UFC at 1 a piece. 🔥

In April we dropped one of the most unique packs yet and our first ever moments outside of  UFC. A PRIDE FC themed set featuring some of the best the organization had to offer was released giving members a chance to own the first Mirko Cro Cop moment 💫

✈️Community Meet-Ups:

We hosted two community meet-ups this month at the sensational UFC 287: Pereira vs Adesanya 2  and UFC Fight Night: Holloway vs Allen for all of our UFC Strike members.

In addition, we rewarded some of our esteemed Champion Club members with extraordinary up-close seats for both events, completely free of charge. 🏆

For the month of April we gave away a total of 40 free tickets in phenomenal up close seats to Champion Club members. It’s nice to be in the club 😎

📣 UFC Strike General Update:

Marketing

Our marketing efforts are in full swing with exclusive 30th Anniversary sponsorships at weekly fights and our first in-broadcast ad. A larger campaign is planned for International Fight Week, alongside ongoing social media engagement. Additionally, a new Sr. Director of Marketing has joined the team; bringing expertise and a passion for UFC.

Marketplace/Floor Prices

As a general practice, our team tends to refrain from commenting on certain matters for ethical and legal reasons. Nevertheless, we can share that there are larger dynamics at play, both at a macro level and within the blockchain domain. It's worth noting that projects on Flow are currently grappling with the impact of Dapper Wallet's absence of a banking partner, which affects funding accessibility. Additionally, we should anticipate a mix of ups and downs along the way in the coming months and years, rather than a straightforward path.

Challenges

We have received valuable feedback regarding burns, difficulty, multi-completion, and more. We appreciate all the input and encourage you to keep it coming. Moving forward, we will continue experimenting with new approaches to gauge their effectiveness. While we still believe that burning and multi-completion Challenges are the optimal way forward, we also recognize the importance of introducing some variations. After all, variety is the spice of life.

Sets and Series 1 & 2

We are actively discussing these matters internally, but we don't have any meaningful updates to share at the moment. Sets play a crucial role in the future of UFC Strike, and we are committed to giving them the necessary time and resources for proper execution. Additionally, please note that there is only one more new pack drop planned for Series 1, with further details to be revealed in June.

UFC Strike as a Whole

We are currently in the process of transitioning ownership and control of UFC Strike from Dapper to Concept Labs. While Dapper remains supportive, they are no longer involved in day-to-day operations. We have made new hires to fill important roles, and our goal is to have full control by IFW, followed by updates to the site.

Communication

We are actively improving our communication with the community by establishing better organization and structure. Although this April newsletter is not the final version, our aim is to create a comprehensive "State of UFC Strike" report that covers past, present, and future developments. Additionally, we are considering implementing a mid-month check-in or office hours session to supplement the regular Discord Q&A and ensure important information reaches a broader audience. Enhancing engagement with existing users and making UFC Strike more accessible to new collectors are top priorities.
